I had a pleasant stay with clean rooms and friendly staff that made check-in easy. However, the limited bathroom amenities and some street noise were minor drawbacks. Overall, it’s a decent choice for families, especially for those visiting local attractions.

The hotel’s common areas were inviting and beautifully decorated, with accessible seating options and ample space for relaxation, making it a wonderful place to unwind after a day of exploring San Diego.

We had a wonderful stay at Lamplighter Inn & Suites At Sdsu! Our room was spacious and well-maintained with two comfortable queen beds, a clean bathroom, and a fully stocked kitchenette that made our visit incredibly convenient. The heated pool was a hit with the kids, and we all felt safe in the well-lit parking area. The staff were friendly and helpful, making our experience even better.

The noise from laundry facilities kept me up!!! I'd prefer a room far from those washing machines!!! !!! The fluctuating shower temperature was an annoyance!!! Also, a few more comfortable lounge chairs would be appreciated!!!

I stayed just one night in a queen room with two queen beds. It felt safe and clean, and the place was easy to find. The hotel really helped me when I needed extra towels, too. It's close to a bunch of restaurants, and the pool looked super inviting! I would totally come back again.

The stay was pleasant overall. The room was clean and comfortable, with good lighting and a functional fridge. However, the breakfast area felt cramped, and there was some confusion regarding the availability of a microwave, which could be improved.

Eating at nearby Dirty Birds is a must—those wings are off the charts! Plus, Corbin's Q serves up some killer BBQ. you won’t regret checking them out. The King Room with Kitchen was a real winner—clean and cozy. And let’s not forget about the super friendly staff that made our stay extra enjoyable!

The furniture was clean but older, and the kitchen could use more essentials—just two forks? Come on! A full-size coffee maker wouldn’t hurt either. Still, the vibes were solid and everything shined in its own way.

The continental breakfast, although standard, had enough variety to keep us satisfied during our trip. It would be great if the facilities included more recreational options.

Super friendly staff and tasty breakfast!

Really enjoyed my stay! The folks here are super nice and the waffles at breakfast were sooooo good! Rooms were clean and cozy. Just wish there were more healthy topping choices for my oatmeal. Also, the wifi was decent, but I sometimes had to reconnect. Oh, and the picnic area was a chill spot to hang out.
